Tackling the Mental Health Crisis
Marcus will introduce the Mental Health Emergency Response Act (MHERA) to declare a National Mental Health Emergency and establish a Special Committee on Mental Health.
The committee will investigate root causes including mass shootings, medication dependencies, social media impact, diet, substance abuse, and parental abuse. Funding will be directed toward evidence-based solutions.
This includes critical support for homeless and veterans' mental health - issues Marcus understands personally from his service.
Modernizing Education
Marcus' education plan prioritizes real-world skills, vocational training, and pathways to careers that don't require a four-year degree.
He'll restore phonics-based reading instruction, require financial literacy, basic civics, and logic in schools, and implement universal school choice where funding follows the student.
Marcus will also remove DEI, radical gender ideology, and leftist indoctrination from schools - returning focus to academics and preparing students for success.
Securing the Border
The southern border crisis is a national emergency. Marcus supports strong enforcement, deportations of criminal illegal immigrants, and a complete overhaul of our broken immigration system.
Florida's 9th District, with its large Hispanic population, understands that legal immigration makes America stronger. But unchecked illegal immigration hurts everyone - including those who came here the right way.
Marcus will fight for secure borders and fair, legal immigration.
Ending DEI
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs have become tools for discrimination and division. Marcus will fight to end DEI in federal government and federally-funded institutions.
These programs don't promote unity - they promote judging people by race, gender, and identity rather than merit and character.
Marcus will ensure DEI is ended for good before it creeps back under a new name.

Protecting Social Security
Social Security is running out of money. Marcus' plan will remove the income cap on Social Security taxes so that millionaires and billionaires pay their fair share.
At the same time, he'll lower the overall tax rate for workers, secure benefits for retirees, and transition responsibly to a system giving Americans control over their own retirement.
Our seniors earned these benefits. Marcus will protect them.
